Well maybe not so crazy, just a long 18 hours worth of flying ahead of me in the near future. At this point, I still dont really feel like Im about to embark on this 11 week trip. My week at home came and went which was not nearly enough time to recoup from finals, the GRE and working out my visa and packing...but I have a good feeling this will all change once Im in the car and on my way to JFK.
But in all seriousness check out my medication for the next 75 days!
If i didnt know any better I would have guessed that I was a senior citizen living in a geriatric care facility. It may not look like too much but looks can be deceiving. Oh the things I'll be trying to do to fend off malaria, stay hydrated, and have "normal" bowel movements. (I apologize for anybody who thought that was TMI)
So before I jump in the car--and then onto the plane where I will consume the only alcohol I will have all summer before I hop on a plane to make my pilgrimage home--I would like to bid New York adieu! Hopefully nobody will predict the city will be flooded on or before August 11th when I mosey on home like the way the world was supposed to end last Saturday....correct me if Im wrong but that didnt happen right? I take my computer and internet connection and outings into the real world as proof Im still alive and kicking. ANYWAY Ill be back, making posts and letting everybody know Im ok and that I have yet to drown in a monsoon the first chance I get!
Now how was that for the premier blog entry of the summer?
don't get drunk on the plane :)
