In the past 3 days Ive managed to get a feel for what India is like, and i must say I dont hate it. On Saturday we all went sightseeing around Mysore and it was incredible. We also stopped into a store called fab india, which was in deed very fabby, hence the title of the post. Note the pictures below:
My first two weeks here will be action packed. Yoga starting at 6, breakfast at 7 and classes until 1:30 before I can take a break before improving my Indian speaking skillz. Everything is so planned out and Ive been getting to bed at 10 every night that Im starting to think this must be what living in a senior living community must be like. My sense of time is out the window and its nice to be a little removed from technology.
The ladle showers arent as bad as I thought. My room has its own bathroom and instead of a shower head theres a faucet, a large bucket, and my ladle (which isnt actually a ladle). Its interesting to realize how much water normal showers waste and how little you really do need to get clean.
