Its the Holiday Season

So thanksgiving in not America is not thanksgiving at all. I had work and my usual things to do on Thursday and practically didnt realize it was the holiday. Sadly, there was no turkey or stuffing or mashed potatoes to be eaten.  A little weird and depressing, I know. But it wasnt all melancholy. I baked cookies and got to hang out with my flatmate so it was as close to being with family for the holiday as I could get. Also, I think I spent a little too much time at work trying to figure out if they were streaming the parade over the internet. Unfortunately, the internet and media hasnt gotten that far yet.

But then this weekend Geneva ha its first snow. I didnt know what to do and neither did the rest of the city. I honestly didnt even realize how much it was snowing until i decided to open my blinds at 1 in the afternoon. I kind of felt like a little kid seeing a world that was there for the first time and not ever really realizing it. Eureka. So it gave me the perfect excuse to sit in bed, watch some tv and just stare out the window and wonder if it would ever stop. It did, but only at like 2 am. I drank an obscene amount of tea too since I have/am recovering from a bit of a cold, so it was nice.

Strange to think that its practically December and that Ill be home in less than a month. Oh New York, I cant wait!
