Other than getting thrown into that, I was taken to court proceedings, brought into meetings with clients, and offered to learn how to drive manual in India. All the mean time, everything goes on in a language I dont understand (well, for the most part at least), but reading people never fails to help put together a conversation. The younger associates are really nice and friendly. Yay office friends!
Ive also taken to going to get coffee at the one "european" coffee place in the city and surely enough, I am the only person there getting coffee. Granted, the price for a coffee at this place is way more than an average Indian can afford but sue me, I require caffeine to start my day.
And to mom & dad, no, there are no pictures of me at work because I am older than 5 and this is not like my first day of kindergarten. My apologies.
blog post adjourned!
Lol ! Thank goodness they didn't let you practice medicine in Sagur, although you could have winged it if you had found a white lab coat. Mommy still wants you to do your 1st day on the job PICS. It's a mommy thing that will never stop. keep us posted on your driving lessons with the manual transmission. Your last post is so hilarious. If you want to watch a great lawyer movie, watch the original version of the paper chase (on Netflix). Have fun being a " Lawyer" for now.
