Sargur: Home Sweet Home

So I promised pics of my new stomping ground and here they are. Its not how I consider New York and even Geneva home but that Ill get back to you in another 8 weeks about that.

Right alongside the hospital grounds is this river. While I personally don’t go there to do my laundry, the rest of the town/village does. In Western standards Sargur is definitely a village, but after traveling to different sights, it lands high on the town meter for India.

On Fridays there is a market that makes Sargur its camp for the day. After work, I moseyed on by to see what was around. Aside from more cows than usual, the local farmers came out to sell their crop.

The sunset is truly beautiful here. This picture doesn’t even come close to capturing how lush and green everything this is here—from the rice paddies, palm trees, and grass. I guess its one of the perks about being here during the monsoons.
