Lyons and tigers and bears, OH MY!

Over the weekend I went on a little day trip to Lyon with a few people from work. It was a really nice time, but exhausting since we were walking around so much.

It was nice to be in a city that was a little more like home, you know aside from the language and lack of skyscrapers and all. But really, it was the closest thing Ive come to to feeling like I was in a city again.

And of course, the one of the million lion statues around town. Dont ask me why though, I honestly have no idea. (If it does mean lion in French, I have some brushing up to do)

But anyway for lunch, we stopped into a grocery store to get cheese and forks next we headed over to a bakery. I had the BEST baguette ever. It had poppy and sesame seeds and was warm. I dont think I can ever look at bread the same way again. I wonder what the French could do with a New York bagel...

Aside from the quick post, everything has been hectic. By everything, I mean work. Its been stressful lately but hopefully it will end on Friday!
